Your Grandmothers House in Mazatlan MX

Rosalba Nicolini Flores address: Segunda Saturno 6001, Esperanza, 82180 Mazatlán, Sin., Mexico

Tobais Nicolini Grandi info

Tobias arrived in Mexico in 1926 He had a disdain for Americans for whatever his reasons (probably having to do with WWI?). He had the opportunity to go to the US, but decided on MX instead. Tobias was sent to war (WW1) at 14years old. It was kill or be killed where he lived. He was in the war all 4 years until 1918. Aldo, my uncle was 11 when he found his father Tobias shot through the temple. Tobias had committed suicide. The bullet exited the other side of the head. Aldo still lives in that same house and he's 72 at the time of me writing this. (You visited this house in Mexico in May of 2021) Most of my grandfather's war mates committed suicide after the war. Manila, Bertoli, Celeste Tobias was born in Dahoni Austria, but his parents were Italian. His parents, and my great grandparents are Santos Nicolini, and Amalia Grandi

Your great grandfather on your grandmothers (Rosalba) side. Tobias Nicolini Grandi (great grandfather) on the right, and his 1914 WWI buddy Celeste on the left. They remained good friends their whole life.  All of Tobias's war buddies that came with him from Italy to Mexico eventually committed suicide, including Celeste.) - Tobias also committed suicide with a revolver, in their house in Mazatlan. His son, your great uncle Aldo found him. I was told that he had a heart condition, an "enlarging heart". And, that he didn't want to be a burden to his family. But, I believe that the war had something to do with all of the suicides, at least to some degree.
